Aerothermal Process Refrigeration
Delivering Cost Effective Efficient Refrigeration
GEOICE Aerothermal process refrigeration systems deliver the unique capability to supply -12C water as well as 70C simultaneously. We find a niche in refrigeration required for Wineries, Ice production, Cold Storage and any comercial facility with a need for refrigeration with the offseat of free heating for preheat conditions of up to 70 degrees C.
The benefits of Aerothermal process refrigeration are for every dollar you spend on energy you receive up to 4 energy units vs Conventional refrigeration which delivers a best in class performance of less than 1 for 1.
Geothermal Process Refrigeration
Process Cooling & Heating Simultaneously
The GEOICE heat pump system was developed to make commercial and private refrigeration to optimize ICE RINKs. Our system works on the principle of thermodynamics. For heating we extract heat from the ground and or water, through geothermal boreholes and introduce heat into the process tanks for use in the system.
For cooling we extract heat from the facility and transport it to the geothermal boreholes or reject it to the tanks as free heat that was recovered and to be applied as comfort or Domestic Hot Water depending on the clients needs. In the event there is excess heat in the system we express the heat to atmosphere if it is greater than the capacity of the ground loop system.
The most efficient geothermal heat pumps are the water-to-water heat pumps, so called because they extract heat from the ground via wells and transfer it to the water circulating through the circuit pipes which are conteianed within the borehole system or loop and ultimately to the facility or process system
Thanks to the high performance of geothermal heat pumps, we can multiply the value of electricity consumption by as much 4 or 5 times (depending on the external conditions and the installation), i.e., with 1 kW of electricity consumed we can generate 4 kW to 5 kW of thermal energy.
