MODEL 2
Is a tow behind resurfacing box (RS), that gathers your snow build up from the wear and tear on an ice rink surface during skating. It is comprised of welded mild steel construction powder coated inside and out with bolt on replaceable items due to normal wear and tear
Model 2 comes with the added advantage of a 48″ stainless steel blade with adjustable depth using the 2 handwheels supplied and centered over the blade. This model is for shaving the ice surface up to 1MM at a time helping to reduce ice build up over time on indoor private rinks or rinks running 24/365:
- It measures 48″ wide x 14″ deep x 14″ high.
- has nylon runners on all sides for noise control
- It has a removeable/replaceable PVC flood bar fixed in place on the rear, above the resurfacing towel.
- A 1″ PVC ball valve connection is fixed to the top of the unit to control the water fed from a tank mounted on a GEOIce power unit or others designed to pull the RS unit.
- The Resurfacing Cloth is heavy guage Terry Towel or equivalanet connected to the draw bar by grommets, nuts and bolts for smooth ice finish.
- For cold weather applications there is neoprene resurfacing matt option that bolts on above the resurfacing cloth, designed to eliminate sticking in subzero temperatures on an outdoor rink.
- 48″ wide x 4″ deep x 1/2″ thick type 316 SS blade sharpened at a 65 degre angle held in place at 10 degrees to te ice surface
